Requirements
You'll need at least two years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or medical center front desk or administrative role, ideally in the UAE or wider GCC. Comfort managing patient bookings, insurance verification basics, phone and walk in enquiries, and general clinic coordination is essential, since this role sits at the center of a patient's first impression of the clinic. Experience with clinic management or EMR systems is a strong plus, and general confidence with computers and everyday office software is expected. You should be organized enough to juggle multiple things at once without losing track of details, since a busy reception desk rarely slows down during the day. Strong spoken and written English is required, and Arabic is a significant advantage given the patient mix in most clinics here. A calm, friendly manner under pressure matters more than almost anything else in this role, since patients and their families often arrive stressed or anxious and the front desk sets the tone for the whole visit.
