Specialist Physician, Internal Medicine
About This Role
We're recruiting Specialist Physicians in Internal Medicine on behalf of clinics and hospital groups across the UAE and wider GCC. Internal medicine is one of the busiest and most in demand specialties in the region right now, and the clinics we work with are looking for physicians who can build lasting relationships with patients, not just move through appointments quickly. If you're an experienced internist thinking about your next move in the Gulf, we'd like to hear from you. We match candidates confidentially based on licensing status, clinical background, and what you're actually looking for in your next role, then move quickly once a suitable opening comes up.
Requirements
You'll need an MD in Internal Medicine and board certification or its recognized equivalent. A valid DHA, DOH, or MOH license is ideal, though we also consider candidates who are realistically able to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe. We're looking for at least five years of experience after residency, with a solid track record managing adult patients across common chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease, as well as general diagnostic workups. Comfort working alongside specialists and allied health staff as part of a coordinated care team matters more to our clients than working in isolation. You should be confident using electronic medical records and keeping documentation clean and current. Strong spoken and written English is required, and Arabic or French will work in your favor given the patient mix here. Above all we're looking for someone who communicates clearly and puts patients at ease, and who's genuinely thinking about the UAE or GCC as a long term base rather than a short stopover. When you apply, let us know your notice period and where things stand with your licensing so we can move faster on your behalf.
